Giving at Circle
Lives are changed for eternity by your donations to the ministries and projects at Circle Drive Alliance Church. We are here to help people Build Relationships For Good with God and one another. It is our commitment to honor God’s trust in us by using His resources wisely and for His purposes. We operate within His provision and recognize our responsibility to manage the resources He provides with integrity and faithfulness. Thank you for your financial, spiritual and volunteer support.

NOTE: Circle Drive Church accepts gifts for the purpose identified. However, if the project is fully funded or cannot be completed, the Board of Elders will use the funds for similar projects.
Manage My Giving (Ways to give)
You can always give using cash, cheque, debit or credit any time you are in the building on a Sunday morning, either before or after the service. However, since we realize that you can’t always get here physically, we have other options for supporting the ministries here at Circle.
More ways to give
- Credit card giving is easy to use, very secure and safe. You use it to give online when going to: cdac.ca/donate, or clicking the big red Donate Now button above.
Give Right Now – Text to Give
- On your cell phone, text the word circleyxe to the number 73256.
Give Right Now – Using the Connect – Our Church Community App
- Download and install the Connect – our Church Community App to your mobile device. Clicking this link on your phone will take you to the appropriate Android or iPhone app store.
- Once the app is on your phone and your information is set up it takes less than 10 seconds to give.
Other Electronic Giving Methods
- Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD)
Pre-Authorized Debit, or PAD, is the easiest and most effective way to automate your giving. Plus, almost 100% of your gift goes to the ministries of Circle Drive Church because there are very minimal processing fees. Sign up for PAD by completing this form. To update your giving at any time, simply email email@example.com with your updated information.
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Electronic Funds Transfer (or online banking) lets you move money electronically from your account to a company or other organization’s account. In this case, you can go to your account on your bank’s website and transfer money for the ministries here at Circle. To use online banking you need to set up Circle Drive Alliance Church as one of the organizations that you “pay bills” or transfer money to. To designate your giving as “Generosity” using this method, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at the time of transfer.
Tithing is more than giving. The word “tithe” literally means tenth or 10%. Tithing, or giving ten percent of your income, isn’t merely giving something to God. It’s giving back what was his to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from him. The Bible says that tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
Regular giving (tithes) go to the General Fund. The General Fund covers the day to day expenses of operating our building (i.e. utilities, repairs & maintenance, insurance), our ministries (i.e. staff, resources, equipment), and regular sharing and missions (i.e. Alliance missions).
In Malachi 3:10, God says “Go ahead. I dare you. See if you can out-give me.” Giving to Generosity is a chance for you to be extravagantly generous. So go ahead, test and experience God’s generosity!
Generosity covers expenses that are over and above our ordinary operating expenses. These projects and activities will only proceed this fiscal year as Generosity giving allows. They are divided into three categories:
1) Mission – local and global mission partners
2) Ministry – new initiatives, additional volunteer and staff training, community programming
3) Facility – upgrades, building projects, décor
You can also request a giving number online and we’ll email it to you. This number is used to uniquely identify you so your donations, gifts and offerings are correctly connected to you when they arrive through the online system. This is also the number your bank will need to know for you to set up EFT.
You will receive your giving number via email. It usually takes less than one business day for your request to be processed.
End of year Giving
Please make note that to have your donations count for the current tax year, we must receive them (or they must be postmarked) by December 31. The church office will be closed from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day. You will be able to make donations in person on December 24 at our Candelight Services. There will also be opportunity to give in person on December 31 at the 10:30am service.
We have online giving options that can be used to donate between Christmas Eve and December 31.
