The Global 6k for Water went forward rain or shine! And on May 25, 2019 that was definitely raining! Yet, even with the weather $15,535.45 was raised. That translates to 310 lives changed forever because they now have access to water in their town or local area.
111 participants walked 6 kilometers. That’s the average round trip people in the DRC make to get water. The walk started at Circle Drive Alliance Church tomorrow at 10:00am and wound through Stonebridge.
YOU can still contribute to the cause! For every $50 raised, one person in the Democratic Republic of Congo will gain access to clean water FOR LIFE.
